A public relations specialist and event coordinator by trade, Corcoran possesses a passion for food and a special flair for entertaining.

With her children grown, she decided to pursue her life-long dream of opening a restaurant and chose to support the City of Wilkes-Barre in doing so. Her very definite idea of what will make Cork unique from other restaurants is the level of hospitality guests will enjoy. Her mission – to ensure that every Cork experience, whether an intimate dinner for two or cocktails with friends, becomes a memorable one.

Cork offers an ambiance that can’t be beat.
Cork’s second floor dining area provides the ideal setting for a romantic dinner for two or a larger dinner group of friends or family. A quiet, window-lined  enclosed porch area has become a favorite of couples who wish to enjoy an intimate candlelight dinner. The upstairs middle room can accommodate a larger dinner party for a group, comfortably seating up to 25. The entire second floor is also available for rehearsal dinners and other parties, and can seat up to 60. Dining in the downstairs bar area, where there is table seating for 35, has become a favorite for sports-lovers who enjoy watching a game on one of the bar’s 4 television sets, or for anyone who enjoys a more casual, lively setting for dining. A bar menu is also available downstairs.

During the warmer months, the Cork patio is the ideal spot for dining or cocktails. The tranquil setting of the patio has been a huge hit with our guests, who enjoy sipping cocktails and dining under the stars in the trendy north end! The patio is also available for cocktail parties or other events.
